Melbourne Skyline At Night
Today’s Daily Cool Photo features another glorious city skyline. Melbourne is the second most populous city in Australia (behind Sydney) and was established in 1835. Each year Melbourne is the host city for Australian Open Tennis Championships, the Australian Grand Prix, the Australian 500cc Motorcycle Grand Prix and the Australian Football League Grand Final. More than 4 million people reside in the Melbourne Metropolitan Area. Melbourne’s famous tramway system is the largest outside the European continent and the fourth largest in the world. The system stretches along 244 kilometres of track and has 450 trams. Luna Park, in Melbourne’s bayside suburb of St Kilda, is the world’s oldest amusement park under private management. This sounds like an exciting city and definitely one that I want to visit one day. This photo features the Melbourne Skyline at night.
Yesterday a photo featuring Grand Canyon Scenery was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant. Feel free to check it out.
