Movie Trailers: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 (2011)

The end of another film saga is approaching quickly. Yesterday Warner Bros studios released the trailer for the last Harry Potter film. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is set for release in July 2011. The new film will feature appearances by Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Bonnie Wright, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Michael Gambon, Jason Isaacs, Emma Thompson, John Hurt, Kelly Macdonald and others. The film is directed by David Yates (who also directed the 3 previous Harry Potter films). Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the last Harry Potter book that J.K. Rowling wrote. The screenplay for the film was written by Steve Kloves. In a sense I’m glad that this will be the last film. It seems a bit dragged out. The first film (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone) was released in late 2001. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 will most probably be one of the biggest films of 2011. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 has had a global gross revenue of $954 million after it was released in November 2010. I’m sure that many fans will of the movies and books will be sad to see Harry Potter vanishing off the silver screen.
