Last week Saturday I made my way to the Oppikoppi Main stage to catch Mr Cat and the Jackal. The party was in full swing. Mr Cat and Jackal came along at the right time at Oppikoppi Unknown Brother. They played at 3 PM. A huge crowd gathered in front of the stage. Mr Cat and the Jackal are unique in the SA Music industry. There truly is no other act like them. I have seen them perform at Where Blues Meets Rock, Park Acoustics, Mokha Rock Lounge and RAMFest Cape Town this year and their performance at Oppikoppi Unknown Brother was nothing short of brilliant. I snapped this photo of Mr Cat and the Jackal Performing on stage at this year’s festival and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 13th of August 2011.
