Mrs B on stage @ Firkin Pub, Centurion
In November 2011 I made my way to Firkin Pub in Centurion (South of Pretoria) to catch Planet Joy, Mrs B and Springbok Nude Girls live. The gig was part of the Springbok Nude Girls “Apes With Shades” tour. Mrs B have been around since 2005 and are one of the most hard-working bands in the SA Music industry (in my opinion). They have become quite renowned for their live performances, and their set at Firkin, Centurion was quite epic last year. Some of Mrs B’s songs have been playlisted on Pretoria community radio station, Tuks FM (which is also South Africa’s only rock station). If you get a chance to see these okes perform you should definitely take it.
