Namaqualand Scene

The Namaqualand is an arid in South Africa. It extends along the West Coast of South Africa for 970 km (600 miles) and covers an area of 440,000 square kilometers (170,000 square miles). This area blossoms with wild flowers in spring time and is very popular with tourists in that time of the year. Over 90% of the local population speak Afrikaans.
