Neil Armstrong on the Moon

Yesterday Neil Armstrong died in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 82 due to complications from blocked coronary arteries. And no, it’s not the guy who was stripped of 7 Tour De France titles, that’s Lance Armstrong.

Neil Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the moon on the 20th of July 1969. He was the one who said “One Small For Man, One Giant Leap for Mankind” before he put his foot down on the moon’s surface.

Neil Armstrong was also an aerospace engineer, US Navy Pilot, test pilot and a university professor. Before he became an astronaut he was a US Navy Officer and served in the Korean War.

It’s a pity that the youth of today doesn’t have a clue who this individual was. Neil Armstrong’s name has been etched into the annals of 20th Century history.  This photo featuring Neil Armstrong walking on the moon has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 26th of August 2012.

Some folks are saying that the Moon Landing of 1969 was a hoax, but I call bullshit on that theory. Feel free to comment on this post if you agree or disagree with me.

Yesterday a photo featuring an Aerial Photo of Barcelona was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out. I stopped by at Neil Armstrongs space museum and bought a picture of Aldrin posing with Neil in the mirror image, so you may be wrong with your discription of the picture.
An older gentleman at the museum told me that the only picture of Neil was the mirror image in Aldrin’s helmet. I compared your picture with mine and on the back of the picture states that it’s Aldrin Posing, Armstrong Captured in Reflection #1004 I’m Canadian, and I have not forgotten!!!!!!!!!
