Miranda Kerr was born in 1983 in Sydney, Australia. In 2003, after finishing school, she started to model full time. She moved to New York in 2004 and signed with Next model agency. Since then she’s modeled for major labels like Levi’s, Blumarine Swimwear and others. Marinda Kerr broke into the US market in 2006 when she signed a cosmetics contract with Maybeline. The campaign ran in various internationally sold magazines like Cosmopolitan and Elle.
Following the success with this campaign, she became the first Australian to be chosen to be chosen as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. She appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Angels TV show in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Following this, she also made a special guest appearance in the sitcom, How I Met your Mother alongside Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller, Heidi Klum and Selita Ebanks. She’s a fashion model who has appeared on the covers of Annabelle (Germany, May 2005), Jalouse (Greece, February 2006) and Bolero (Switzerland, June 2005). She appeared in the 2007 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue as one of the 2007 Rookies and also made appearances in the 2008 and 2009 editions. She’s the face of 2 worldwide campaigns, 1 for Intimissimi (2007, 2008) and 1 for Guess (2008). She’s also credited as Irina Shayk sometimes. She is gorgeous and worthy of being added onto this blog. Uma Thurman was born in 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. She featured as The Bride in both the Kill Bill movies in 2003 and 2004 (one of my favorite roles). She was also very good in Pulp Fiction in 1994. Both the Kill Bill movies and Pulp Fiction were directed by Quintin Tarantino. She’s an established Hollywood actress. She’s starred in numerous other films over the years, including Jennifer 8, Henry and June, Gattaca, Beautiful Girls and The Avengers (to name just a few).
