Rachel McAdams was born in 1978 in London, Ontario in Canada. She starred in Sherlock Holmes (which was directed by Guy Ritchie), The Time Traveller’s Wife and State of Play (which starred Russell Crowe) in 2009. She also starred in The Hot Chick in 2002, Mean Girls and The Notebook in 2004 and The Family Stone in 2005.
