Scene at Rock Am Ring 2010 during Rammstein set

Tonight I will be heading off to the Coca Cola Dome in Johannesburg for the sold-out Rammstein concert. Apparently the Cape Town concert of the 2011 Rammstein South Africa was a huge success (according to some people on my Twitter feed). I’m really looking forward to this. It’s the first time since 2000 (when Smashing Pumpkins and James were here) that I’ve decided to head off to a major concert for an international act. Rammstein played at Rock Am Ring in Germany in 2010. Together with Rock im Park, Rock am Ring is the largest music festival in Germany and one of the largest in the world. A combined total of just over 150,000 people attended the festival in 2007. The festival takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack in the west of Germany. This photo which shows a scene from Rock am Ring during the Rammstein set in 2010 has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 11th of February 2011. Running Wolf’s Rant hopes that everyone attending the show tonight at the Coca-Cola dome has a great time and does not walk away with too many bruises from the mosh pit.

Yesterday a photo of the Beijing Skyline was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant. Watch this space for updates.
