Seoul is the capital of South Korea. It’s a mega city with a population of 12 million people. Settlement of the area began in 17 BC. Seoul hosted the 1988 Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic games as well as the 1986 Asian Games. It is one of the world’s top 10 financial and commercial centers, home to large conglomerates such as Samsung, LG and Hyundai-Kia.
