On Friday night (the 27th of January 2012) I made my way to Arcade Empire to catch 7th Son, Southern Gypsey Queen and Shadowclub live. After being entertained by some excellent sets by 7th Son and Southern Gypsey Queen it was Shadowclub’s turn to make their way onto the venue’s stage. Shadowclub made waves in the SA Music industry in 2011. They opened for Kings of Leon when they toured the country last year – and they also released their debut album. Shadowclub are definitely one of the bands to watch in 2012. I’m particularly looking forward to their set at Up the Creek (near Swellendam) this weekend. I snapped this photo of Shadowclub on stage on Friday and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 1st of February 2012.
