Sowing The Seeds 2012 102x300 Sowing The Seeds 2012 Coming Soon!So, you thought that the last weekend in February might be a weekend that you spent at home with nothing to do? Well, think again. The organizers of the popular Rocking The Daisies festival in the Western Cape are bringing you a two day festival to Gauteng on the 24th and 25th February 2012. The festival is called Sowing the Seeds and will take place at Warthogs Game Farm near Magaliesburg.

Not only will you be immersed in the uniquely laid back vibe of quality music, great company and delicious food but the breathtaking Highveld landscape as well. Sowing the Seeds is taking its inspiration from Rocking the Daisies, so you can expect edgy brand activations, grassy areas, misting canopies, quality food & drink and the awesome Daisy Train.  CONVERSE and the “The Right to Make Noise” will be there! There will be stages at Sowing The Seeds 2012 – The Bushwackers stage and the Beat Toma. The line-up for this years festival includes  Goldfish, Shadowclub, Desmond & The Tutus, Tidal Waves, Wrestlerish, Jeremy Loops, The Brother Moves On, Skabengas,      Shortstraw, Circuswing, Toby2shoes, Dubmasta China, Professor Mistry, Regan, Maoriginal, Dr Khumalo vs Moejoe vs Minx, Lucky Luke and Lil Bow. More acts will be announced in the weeks before the festival.

Camping Gates Open at 3 PM and Festival Gates will be open from 6 PM to 2 AM on the Friday. Gates will be open from 10 AM to 2 AM on the Saturday.  Full Weekend tickets (which includes camping) cost R200 online (pre-sale) and R250 at the gate. VIP tickets cost R350 (and includes access to an exclusive bar, pool and ablutions). Only 100 VIP tickets are available. Children under 12 can enter free of charge.  Pre-sale tickets are available at http://www.webtickets.co.za.

All tickets include camping, however, for those looking for a little more luxury, see the Rocking The Daisies website for accommodation options in and around Magaliesburg. A shuttle bus will run all day Saturday to and from the town of Magaliesburg to the festival. Various pick up and drop of points will be located along the route near key accommodation. There will be gourmet food facilities, 4 bars, camping areas, shaded areas, misting areas, comfortable seating areas, ample security, ample parking areas, emergency services, ample clean and serviced ablutions at the venue.
