Stand By The Bulls This Year!

BullsThe 2013 Super 15 tournament kicks off on the 15th of February in Melbourne. The first matches in which South African teams play will kick off on the 22nd and 23rd February.

The Bulls will play against the Stormers at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria on the Friday and the Cheetahs will play against the Sharks at Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on the Saturday. It’s going to be a long Super 15 season this year – the 2013 final will only be played on the 3rd of August.

It will be interesting to see if the Bulls can win their fourth Super rugby tournament in history.

Super 15 fever is definitely heating up! Earlier today, the Vodacom Bulls released a video for the fans, encouraging them to Stand By The Bulls This Year! The whole team got involved to sing their own version of the popular Ben E. King song, Stand By Me. The Bulls will really do anything for their fans and this video is proof of this. I’m pretty sure that most Bulls supporters will appreciate this.

Yes, I know the Bulls players can’t really sing Sharks supporters, but who gives a rats arse? It’s giving up a serenade / acapella vibe and I think it’s pretty awesome. I don’t see any other SA teams doing this.

After seeing this video and hearing the song you probably want to Stand By The Bulls this year! Spread the word to your fellow Bulls fans by sharing this post with your friends on Facebook and Twitter – it’s the right thing to do.

You can follow @BlueBullsRugby on Twitter or check out the Official Bulls Facebook page for more info about the Bulls. The official hashtag for the whole of this year’s rugby season is #StandByTheBulls
