In case you did not know, Debonairs Pizza is one of the most popular pizza brands in South Africa. The company was founded by two university students in Pietermaritzburg in 1991. In 1996 the company was acquired by the highly successful and well known Steers Group of Companies. Since then Debonairs have become extremely well known in South Africa.
Many of you reading this love Debonairs Pizza, there’s no doubt about that. And I have great news! I have been asked by these South African Pizza legends to partake in their Pizza Battle campaign! I’m required to design my own pizza! The pizza I had in mind for the Debonairs Pizza Battle has the following toppings on:
Garlic, bacon (2 portions), ham, feta, chicken, biltong and avocado. And before you ask: YES, two portions of bacon, because many of you guys reading this post REALLY love bacon. And all of you know when you have bacon anyone’s argument is invalid.
