In case you were living under a rock, American rock band Incubus are making their way to South Africa for two shows in late February 2018. Today the organisers announced the local supporting acts who will be warming up rock fans before they make their way onto the stage.
Fans can expect an electrifying build-up to Incubus’ SA shows
The Pretoria show will be held at the Voortrekker Monument and will include support by Cape Town rockers Southern Wild, SA Garage Rock Kings Hellcats, BCUC, SA Blues Rock Legend Dan Patlansky and Girl Rockers Cortina Whiplash. Fans can look forward to a full day of stomping music from noon to midnight, just like a mini music festival and with that comes everything you would expect, including loads of well-stocked bars and a variety of food stations.
In Cape Town, fans will be treated to Southern Wild, Alternative Folk Aficionados BRYNN and Cape Town Garage Rockers Retro Dizzy. The show will be held at the Green Point A Track – a new, central venue opposite the Cape Town Stadium. Set in the heart of the city with Table Mountain as a backdrop, this beautiful outdoor venue will create the perfect setting for an unforgettable music experience. Fans will be able to rock out under the stars with their favourite bands and will have a range of bars and food stations at their fingertips.
We Are Live founder Craig Bright says the Californian rock legends are excited to have such strong supporting line-ups for their shows in South Africa. “We have carefully handpicked every band that will be supporting Incubus in Cape Town and Pretoria, and we are proud to bring an incredible line-up to South African music fans as each band brings something special to the stage.” shares Bright.
Tickets are on sale now from www.wearelive.events and range from R175 (for kids between 3 and 16) to R395 for general access and R795 for Golden Circle tickets (excluding booking fees).
