Table Mountain is situated in Cape Town, South Africa. Thanks to a cable way (which was upgraded in the late 1990s) visitors can be transported to the top of the mountain. The mountain is part of the Table Mountain National Park. Table Mountain is 1,086 metres (3,563 feet) high. I recently spent 7 days in December in Cape Town on holiday and took this photo of one of South Africa’s well-known landmarks whilst standing at Cape Town’s other top destination, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. This photo has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo for the 26th of February 2010 on Running Wolf’s Rant. Watch this space for your Daily Cool Photo fix.
