Great news! A band that is renowned all around the globe as one of the best festival bands, The Cat Empire, has been confirmed as the first international act to perform on the Main Stage at the tenth edition of Rocking the Daisies this year.
The jazz / reggae / funk / Latin / gypsy / Cuban / Australian band never fails to start a party and have been touring and releasing records for well over 10 years. Their latest album, “Steal the Light” made its debut on the top 20 charts of no less than six countries. They have a massive army of fans all over the world and for a very good reason. They deliver incredible musicality, humor, entertainment and energy and are guaranteed to make you smile and dance.
The Cat Empire was spawned out of Jazz Cat (a 9 piece jazz band) in 1999 in Melbourne, Australia. Ollie McGill, Ryan Monro, Felix Riebl, Harry James Angus, Will Hull-Brown and Jamshid Khadiwhala are the members of the band.
Those who have pre-registered for Rocking the Daisies will be able to purchase their Phase One tickets right here for R750. These tickets are limited and are available only while stocks last or until 9 April (whichever comes first).
From 9 April, Phase Two opens (if not sold out) and all those who pre-registered will have 24 hours to get a Phase Two ticket before Phase Two tickets open to the public. Ticket sales are limited to four per person and ticket holders will have the option to transfer their tickets between 1 July and midday on 29 September.
All ticket phases are valid for the full festival experience from 1 – 4 October 2015 at the epic Cloof Wine Estate in Darling. Prices exclude booking fees which comprise of charges for the IT services, credit card / bank related charges, fraud prevention, security control and other administrative fees related to the advanced festival ticketing management system. This only applies to online sales and does not apply to the cash sale tickets.
