Aerial Photo of Barcelona

Barcelona is definitely of the cities in Europe that I want to visit one day. It is said that the area where the city is today was first settled in 15 BC. Quite impressive if you ask me.

Today Barcelona is the second biggest city in Spain behind Madrid with a population of more than 5 million people. The city hosted the Summer Olympic Games in 1992. The city is located on the North East coast of the Iberian Peninsula, facing the Mediterranean Sea.

Aldas Kirvaitis took this Aerial Photo of Barcelona and posted it on the popular photo sharing website Flickr. It’s an absolutely stunning photo of the city if you ask me. This photo has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 25th of August 2012.

Barcelona is the 2nd biggest city in Spain with a population of 1.6 million people. It’s one of the cities in Europe that I’d like to visit one day. The city hosted the 1992 Summer Olympics. This photo of the city’s skyline has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo for today on Running Wolf’s Rant.
