In late October last year RAM Touring announced that Asking Alexandria would be touring South Africa in May 2014. Since then excitement has been mounting in the SA metal community and tickets have been selling like hotcakes for the Cape Town and Johannesburg shows.
If you’re in Cape Town and you already have tickets (or if you are planning to go to the show), take note that the venue has been changed. The concert (which is scheduled for the 2nd of May 2014) will now be taking place at the Klein Libertas Outdoor Theatre in Stellenbosch. The Johannesburg leg of the Asking Alexandria tour will still be taking place on the 3rd of May 2014 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre. Local metal maestros Facing The Gallows will be the opening act for both shows.
Facilities at both venues include well-stocked bars (and no alcohol will be served to under 18′s), food stalls, security, medics and kick ass production. Regretfully no under 16′s will be allowed and under 18′s will only be admissible if accompanied by adult (21+) supervision and their ID documents. Tickets to both these shows are available via the Plankton.Mobi website and cost R350 per person. For more information, check out the RAM Touring website, RAM Touring Facebook page or follow @RAMtouring on Twitter.
