The South African 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup Squad was announced 2 days ago. For those of you who did not know, the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup will be hosted by India, Sri Lanka & Bangladesh. The tournament is scheduled to start on the 19th of February (less than 1 month from now) and will end on the 2nd of April. Matches will be hosted by Kolkata, New Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Mohali, Nagpur and Bangalore (in India), by Colombo, Hambantota and Kandy (in Sri Lanka) and Chittagong and Dhaka (in Bangladesh). The 14 participating teams are split into 2 groups of 7. The top 4 of each group will advance to the quarter final stage of the competition.
Group A: Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya.
Group B: India, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Ireland and The Netherlands
