This past weekend I went to a Valiant Swart gig at Mokha Rock Lounge in Pretoria East (at the entrance to the National Botanical Gardens). Besides the South African Music legend, Pedro Barbosa (of Mrs B fame) and The Action Thrillers played on the night. Mokha Rock Lounge’s vibe and atmosphere was the perfect setting for a gig like this. For those of you who didn’t know, The Action Thrillers are a rock duo from Pretoria, South Africa. Hendrik Marx (on vocals) and Craig Mcallum (on guitar) are the members. They played an excellent opening set for the evening. I snapped this photo of The Action Thrillers performing and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 28th of April 2011.
