The 2012 Tour De France is currently underway. It’s the 99th time that this world famous cycling race is being held. The first Tour De France actually took place in 1903. This year’s Tour De France takes cyclists through France, parts of Belgium and parts of Switzerland. The 2012 Tour De France ends on the 22 July in Paris. In this photo taken by Christoper Ena (for the Associated Press) a Tour De France peloton passes a church in Rouen during the start of the fifth stage on the 5th of July 2012. For more Tour De France photos, check out the Boston Big Picture website. I haven’t been to France, but I wouldn’t mind witnessing the Tour De France with my own eyes one day. This photo has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 12th of July 2012.
Yesterday a photo featuring Table Mountain’s Cloudy Tablecloth was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant, feel free to check it out.
