Van Coke Kartel on stage @ Where BLUES Meets ROCK
About 2 weeks ago I attended the Where BLUES Meets ROCK festival (near Bronkhorstspruit in Gauteng). We only arrived at the festival at 9 PM on Friday night but were in time to catch the Klopjag, Die Tuindwergies, Van Coke Kartel & The Fake Leather Blues Band performances. All the sets were brilliant. Van Coke Kartel did not disappoint and showed just why they were one of the 2011 MK Award Winners (the MK Award Ceremony was held in Cape Town the next day). It was the 2nd time that I’ve seen them perform this year. They really got the crowd going at Where BLUES Meets ROCK. I snapped this photo of them performing at the festival and it has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for the 9th of March 2011.
Yesterday a photo of Gazelle on stage @ RAMFest 2011 Cape Town was the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant. Watch this space for regular updates.
