View from Empire State Building in New York City
The Empire State building is 102 storeys high and is located in New York City in the United States. The building was constructed in only 14 months. It was completed in 1932. The building was the highest building in the world for 40 years (from 1932 to 1972). The record was broken by the World Trade Center North Tower. Since the WTC North tower was destroyed in the terrorist attacks on the 11th of September 2001 the Empire State building is now the tallest building in New York City. The 160 storey Burj Khalifa currently holds the record for the tallest building in the world and the tallest manmade structure ever built. I have not been to New York City but it’s a city that I would like to visit one day. This photo of the view from the Empire State Building in New York City has been selected as the Daily Cool Photo on Running Wolf’s Rant for today.
