So, RAMFest is less than a month away and many of you are probably feeling just as amped as I am for what is going to be one of the highlights on the South African music festival calendar.
To refresh your memory, both RAMFest Cape Town and RAMFest Johannesburg will be held on the weekend of the 6th to the 9th of March 2014. The Cape Town leg will be held at Elandskloof Farm, Helderstroom and the Johannesburg leg will be held at Witfontein, Bronkhorstspruit (also known as Dronkwordspruit in some circles). Tickets have been selling like hotcakes over the last few months for both events, particularly because the local line-up for both legs are just plain awesome and no less than 5 international acts will be performing this year: Biffy Clyro (from Scotland), Trivium (from the USA), Killswitch Engage (also from the USA), Foals (from the UK) and Camo & Krooked (from Austria). For the full of international acts, check out the RAMFest website.
Great news is that the awesome folks at RAMFest have given Running Wolf’s Rant a RAMFest CD hamper to give away. There are 4 CD’s in the hamper: Biffy Clyro – Opposites, Foals – Holy Fire, Killswitch Engage – Disarm the Desent and Trivium – In Waves. All you have to do to enter is comment on this post and let me know what you’d be willing to do on a dare to get your hands on these awesome albums. The most creative rock fan will win the prize. The competition closes on the 19th of February (next week Thursday) at 10 AM, so get your comment on!
If you don’t have tickets for RAMFest yet, what are you waiting for? Buy your RAMFest tickets for R700 via plankton.mobi NOW!
