Great news for punters and beer lovers in the Western Cape! The annual Hermanus Craft Beer Festival returns to the picturesque coastal town of Hermanus this festive season on the 22nd of December.
Start your Christmas celebrations early this year and bring your family and friends to the whale mecca for a fun filled day of great local beer to quench your thirst whilst surrounded by live music from fantastic musicians like Francois Van Coke & Rumswinger.
To soak up some of the alcohol, a range of food trucks will be on site selling their tasty treats and gourmet goodies. The event is also family-friendly with plenty of activities to keep your little ones busy. Bring a picnic blanket and camping chairs and while you are sampling all the goodness of the cold ones on offer, kids can run wild and experience the joy of the safe play area.
Punters can enjoy brews from Old Potter’s Country Inn & Brewpub, Ysterbru, Elysium Brewing Company, Diesel and Dust Craft Beer, Woodstock Brewery, Rosebank Brewing Company and others.
The event is happening at the Hermanus Cricket Grounds and gates open at 10 AM on the day. The event ends at 8 PM. Pre-sold tickets cost R85 (including a plastic cup) or R100 (Including a branded glass). Tickets for children aged 12 – 17 cost R50. Children younger than 12 can enter for free.
