This edition will feature performances by Tristen Beer (a singer-songwriter from Jeffrey’s Bay) , the Sean Koch Trio (a Folk / Acoustic / Reggae / Ambient act from Cape Town), Josh Kempen (a singer-songwriter from Johannesburg), Alice Phoebe Lou (a Cape Townian artist who travelled the world after leaving school and has played all over the globe) and Matthew Mole (who needs no introduction).
DJ Half ‘n Half will be spinning the decks after the bands / artists finish their live sets and Mum-Z, Prins and Carl Joshua Ncube (a comedian from Zimbabwe) will be doing comedy on the Sunset Comedy Stage.
Please take note: No under 18’s will be allowed except small children accompanied by their parents. Proof of identification required – no copies, photos or temporary documents. No glass is permitted into the festival area, please buy cans or decant into plastic bottles. Please leave your weapons, illegal substances, domestic animals and bad vibes at home.
Tickets will set you back R120 on the Park Acoustics website or R150 at the gate. Take note that there are only 1200 tickets available online, the rest will be sold at the gate and there are only 2000 total tickets available for this event. Parking costs R15 and is payable at the gate to the Voortrekker Monument Reserve.
More great news is that Running Wolf’s Rant is giving away a double ticket for this event and all you need to do to enter the competition is leave a comment below and tell us what the ideal Park Acoustics mascot would be, what you would call him or her and why you would call them that. The person with the most creative answer will win the tickets.
Take note that this competition is NOT open to under 18’s. This competition closes on Monday the 27th of February at 5 PM. The winner will be notified via the comment section on the 1st of March.
