Great news music fans! Park Acoustics is happening on Sunday the 29th of October 2017 at Fort Schanskop at the Voortrekker Monument!
This edition will feature performances by Bellville rockers aKING, Afrikaans folk music legends Klopjag, Joburg folk act Georgetown, Afrikaans poet and rock legend Bacchus Nel and Deon Bakkes & The Stolen Horses (who recently played a kick-ass set at Oppikoppi 2017).
There will also be stand-up comedy performances by Martin Davis (from the UK),
Kraai Du Toit and Mojak Lehoko and you will also have the opportunity to dance into the early hours of the evening to the old school tunes of DJ Legend.
Take note that no under 18’s are allowed except children who are accompanied by their parents. Proof of identification is required. No copies, photo’s or temporary documents will be accepted. Also take note that no glass is permitted into the festival area. Buy cans or decant your booze into plastic bottles. Gates open at 10 AM and the first act will be on stage at 11 AM.
Tickets cost R120 on the Park Acoustics website or will set you back R150 at the gate. Take note that there’s only 2000 tickets available for this event (which will be held inside Fort Schanskop).
