This advert features Hollywood actor Louis Gossett Jr. (famous for his roles in An Officer and a Gentleman in 1983 and Iron Eagle in 1986). Windhoek Lager is quite a popular beer brand in South Africa (even though it’s actually a Namibian lager). Windhoek Lager is well-known to be a beer made without any preservatives. I find this advert to be one of the funniest I’ve ever seen for the brand. For this reason the advert has been selected to be featured in the TV Adverts section of Running Wolf’s Rant today.
