Zebra and Giraffe "The Wisest Ones" Album Launch Tour Coming Soon

Fans of South African music should be feeling amped! “Why?” You ask? Well, Zebra and Giraffe are going on the “The Wisest Ones” album launch tour soon to promote their latest album.

“The Wisest Ones” was released by Zebra and Giraffe in July 2012 and they’ll be on the road in September 2012 to introduce it to their fans on a nationwide tour. “The Wisest Ones” Album Launch Tour kicks off on 5 September 2012 at Memphis Rock in Potchefstroom and will include shows in Durban, Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown.

So much has changed since Zebra and Giraffe released their SAMA-award winning album “Collected Memories”. Members have come and gone and the band’s overall sound has moved from straight-up, radio-hit rock to a place far darker and more daring than even they could have imagined. Zebra and Giraffe’s latest album, “The Wisest Ones” is the result of this.

The first single off the album “I’ll Blame You” comes after a string of chart topping hits for the band, which included the hugely successful track, “The Knife”. Zebra and Giraffe have had no less than 13 singles playlisted on national radio since they started. 7 of those singles were from “Collected Memories” and six from “The Inside”. And now Zebra and Giraffe are ready for the next chapter.

They have been hailed as one of South Africa’s most dynamic live acts – something that I will not be disputing. If you can catch them live in a city near you, don’t miss out.
