3 Mobile Apps to help you with Breakups

Breaking up is never easy. For some it may be, for others not so much. For people in Victorian times, a breakup was done with an eloquent letter, for people in 90’s it was by fax, for people in the new millennium it was all done via texts and in chat rooms and finally we have arrived at the age where it is done via an app. There are actually number of apps out there to help you break up with someone. This is the world we live in.

Breakup Text is the perfect app for those who are too lazy or too tech savy to do it like a normal person (which is face to face, if you didn’t know). It’s a cheeky app developed by Jake Levine and Lauren Leto. It asks you a few questions, e.g. was it serious and why do you want to break up and  your gender and then it composes a long winded message to send to the person you want to dump. Granted it is quite sarcastic and tongue in cheek, and well some of the messages are not entirely plausible. But hey if you have the confidence to pull a story off about how a bear ate you then by all means go for it.

Break Up is an app that was designed to help you manage the ends of your personal relationships by reminding you why you broke up with the person who is either contacting you or who you are contacting. This serves the purpose of not allowing you to be wooed back into a bad relationship by charm, wit or desire. This app is designed to keep the memory of your breakup fresh in your mind. Remember! You left for a reason! This app also helps you by letting you block incoming and outgoing calls and incoming text messages from your managed contacts list. Kick them to the curb and get over it! (straight from the Google Play Android app store)

There is also the Killswitch app, that simply erases all of your relationship data/ and photographs off of your Facebook profile. Never again will you have to log on and see that picture of you and you bf/gf throwing cake at each other and making out at some club.  It goes through your wall and your messages too. The best thing, all deleted photo’s are kept in a private album in the app so IF you change your mind, and you shouldn’t, or you want to laugh at your past, it is available and can be reinstated back on facebook.

These are just 3 of the many apps available. Have you used them? What do you think of them? Leave a comment and let me know.
