3 Most Annoying World of Warcraft Mobs

Today I’m featuring the 3 most annoying World of Warcraft mobs. I’ve been playing the game for the past 3 years and over the years, there have been really irritating creatures & humanoids in the game who always tend to attack your character when he / she really does not need to be attacked.

I recently started levelling a new character on a new realm so I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing them once again.

    World of Warcraft mobs

These World of Warcraft mobs have really pissed me off:

    3. Murlocs

These irritating little humanoids are found in a few areas in World of Warcraft and have a distinct howl that warns you of their attack. They are not very powerful creatures, but that distinct howl packs enough punch to catch you off-guard and usually annoy the crap out of you. Luckily, most characters in World of Warcraft have the ability to beat the crap out of them :).

Murlocs are found in Wetlands, Borean Tundra, Red Ridge Mountains and a few other areas. I sometimes wonder if Hunters would tame a Murloc as a pet (if Blizzard allows them to). There is actually a company in the US selling Murloc Plush Toys.

    2. Wolves

There are also various species of wolves in World of Warcraft. These furry creatures are also found in a wide range of areas in the game including Hinterlands, Feralas, Duskwood, Burning Steppes and a few others. They are quite annoying with the ability to attack you when you least expect it, usually whilst fighting another mob. They, like Murlocs, like to run off to their mob friends before they die and call them over to you. (Mobs commonly known amongst players as “Runners”).

The wolves in Hinterlands have a stealth ability, which means you usually don’t see them coming, which is even more annoying. Hearing the sound they make actually helps me to remember why I usually play with the sound off in the game.

    1. The Pigs in Hellfire Peninsula

These overweight creatures are the most annoying in World of Warcraft, in my opinion. I think that when Blizzard created Hellfire Peninsula they created too many of them and put them in places where you don’t want them around. These creatures have also earned the title of The Most Aggroed Creature in WoW, and I speak from personal experience, and if you don’t believe me, you can ask one of my housemates (who has heard numerous accounts of my vocal praise for these creatures).

I must admit, that my toon that I’m currently playing with (Level 54 Tauren Warrior) is not looking forward to Hellfire Peninsula for this reason and will be killing mobs in Eastern Plaguelands and Winterspring before he enters Outland at level 59 or 60, which could be make questing in Hellfire Peninsula less painful.

For the sake of my own sanity (and yours) I’d like to remind you all that in the end it’s only a game and there’s no need to get worked up about World of Warcraft. There are a lot of other things in life all of us can get worked up about though.

However, I’d like to know which World of Warcraft mobs irritate you, so please leave a comment below.
