The Mojo Rising Blues Cruise is happening in March 2019 and Albert Frost is on the line-up. It promises to be one of the coolest musical events next year and I had a chat to him about it and a few other things. Here’s what he had to say:
When Albert Frost thinks of The Blues Cruise, what comes to mind?
How many blues songs do I know that starts with C…
Why should people book for The Blues Cruise?
It’s a great way to enjoy great blues on a boat with jollers.
What is your favourite Blues song to cruise to?
Catfish Blues
What is the funniest thing that’s every happened to Albert Frost near a body of water?
Someone attempting to stage dive into a puddle of water (classic fail hahaha)!
Which 3 blues songs should be on a Blues playlist and why?
“Mountains” – because you’ll miss them. “The Waterfront” – the horrible feeling of being left on shore whilst everyone is having a jol. “Bright Lights Big City” – appreciate the country more.
What can Blues Cruisers expect from Albert Frost’s sets on the Mojo Rising Blues Cruise?
No doubt some collaborative moments and just some straight forward blues rock in style.
I’d like to thank Albert Frost for this interview and I wish him all of the best for the rest of 2018 and with the sets he’s going to play on the Mojo Rising Blues Cruise next year.
