Great news music fans! Yesterday it was announced that American Rock Band Bowling for Soup are coming to South Africa! So far the band has been confirmed to play at two music festivals at the end of March 2018.

Bowling for Soup hail from Wichita, Texas in the USA and the band’s current members are Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Erik Chandler and Gary Wiseman. The band was formed in 1994 and were originally known as Rubberneck. To date the band has released 10 studio albums. The last album they released was Drunk Dynasty (in 2016).

Over the years Bowling for Soup has given us songs like “Almost”, “1985” and “Girl All The Bad Guys Want” and they’ve played at venues all around the USA and UK and even performed for American troops in Japan (in the early years of this decade).

Bowling for Soup will be playing at Lush Festival and Splashy Fen Festival this year

Bowling for Soup will be making their way to Lush Festival near Clarens in the Free State to join a stellar line-up of SA musicians consisting of folks like Anton Goosen, Fokofpolisiekar, Jack Parow, Goodluck, Albert Frost, Desmond & The Tutus, PHFat, Boo!, aKING, We Are Charlie, Deity’s Muse, Yo Grapes and Made for Broadway.

They will also be making their way to Splashy Fen Festival in KZN. This festival’s line-up already features Mango Groove, Matthew Mole, Ard Matthews, Rubber DucPrime Circle and Veranda Panda and more artists will be announced soon.

Both of these festivals are happening from the 29th of March to the 2nd of April 2018, so make sure that you get your tickets for Lush Festival HERE or your tickets for Splash Fen Music Festival HERE.
