On the 4th of February 2017 a beach party to end summer with a bang is going to in Benoni. The East Rand doesn’t have a beach, but like almost every town in South Africa, it has it’s fair share of bars and pubs…
In case you did not know, Benoni has a place called Cielo Beach Bar and this will be the venue for LILO, an alternative music extravaganza with a massive beach, swimming pool, cocktail bar, craft beer bar and some fun surprises.
If you did not go down to the coast for the December holidays you don’t have an excuse to miss out on LILO. And if you love good live music, you really shouldn’t miss out on this either.
LILO will feature performances by Stephane Marais, Josie Field & Laurie Levine, Jaryd Smith, Bad Peter, Strait Jackal, December Streets, Shortstraw and PH Fat and if you ask me, there’s definitely no shortage of talent in this line-up.
It turns out that there’s more to do in Benoni nowadays than just braai-ing and drinking beer. There are actually live music events worth checking out.
LILO is brought to you The Green Live. Tickets are available on the Nutickets website and cost only R120 per person (excluding booking fees) and entrance at the gate will set you back R150.
