Do you like Mind Games? Well, most of us don’t like being the victim of them in relationships and in life in general, but we are still thinking of evolving and developing the ability to do Jedi mind tricks, right? The US TV network ABC has rolled out a new comedy drama show entitled “Mind Games” that looks promising and could give you some pointers on working on your Jedi mind trick skills.
The show plays out in Chicago and centers on the complicated relationship between the two Edwards brothers: Clark (a bipolar genius in human psychology played by Steve Zahn) and Ross (a slick ex-con played by Christian Slater) who solve their clients’ problems using the real science of human motivation and manipulation. This may all sound very serious, but there’s definitely room for some humorous and comedic elements there, the word “hypnosis” is already popping into my head…
Mind Games also features performances by Megalyn Echikunwoke, Wynn Everett (who plays Ross’ ex wife), Gregory Marcel, Cedric Sanders and Jaime Ray Newman (who gained fame for her role in Eureka). The show was developed by writer and producer Kyle Killen (who also brought us Awake and Lone Star).
Check out the show’s trailer below. It already aired on the 25th of February in the USA and no release date has been announced for SA TV networks yet.
So, what do you think of Mind Games? Are you going to check this TV show out when it finally airs in South Africa? Leave a comment and let me know what you think.
