Great Scott! Bunk Industries and Misty Waters Festival incorporated have planned a holistic event as a kind of hors d’oeuvre, aka starter, to main course of Misty Waters Festival 2019.
On 27 April they bring you Bunk: The Healer. This event will feature performances by Raygun Royale, Monkeys in Boots and Hellcats.
With the Bunk lineup consisting of only bands you will also see at Misty Waters, and your Misty Waters ticket getting you in for free, this is a small thank you from the festival organisers for your support for the upcoming festival on the 10th of May.
More info about the bands at Bunk: The Healer
Raygun Royale are 4 brasse hailing from Randburg in Jozi. Their bio uses strong words like “explosive”, “lightning groove” and the massively underused genre term “Trash-Pop-Stadium-Garage-Punk”. Sounds Sick. They have been playing a tight set for years and Bunk simply can not leave them off the line-up.
Monkeys in Boots are a 5 peace self-proclaimed folk rock outfit from the Snor City. I wonder of they still do that “99 Problems” Jay Z cover? Anyway, these kids have a great vibe and they’re ready to get warmed up for Misty Waters Festival.
Hellcats have just launched their album “the Hex and th Healer” featuring the titular song of this Bunk. They have been breaking, hearts, stages and eardrums across the country with the album launch tour. Hold on to your shorts. It’s going to get rough.
Bunk: The Healer is happening at the Grind Bar & Eatery in Pretoria. Online tickets will set you back R30 via Plankton.Mobi. Tickets at the door will set you back R40.
Take note that you will granted free entry if you bring your Misty Waters Ticket with your name on only. ID required to verify.
