De Wallen, one of South Africa’s top rock ‘n roll acts have announced a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to help print albums, vinyls and manufacture merchandise.
De Wallen (who are based in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape) have been around since 2011 and have been making waves in the SA music scene over the last few years. They’ve played at festivals and venues all over the country and have gained a reputation for delivering lekker live performances and getting crowds to rock the fuck out. I’ve only watched them perform live twice and I would love to see them live again.
Great news for rock fans is that De Wallen is heading into the studio this month for two weeks to record their third album. Unfortunately they’ve used the majority of their saved funds to finance their current recording and upcoming European tour and they need your help to print albums, vinyls and manufacture merchandise. The band is offering a whole host of rewards to make your pledge worthwhile.
De Wallen have 58 days left to reach their goal of R100,000, so there’s still plenty of time to help them fulfill their musical goal. If you wanna help, make sure that you visit their Thundafund page to pledge.
