Get amped for the 2nd edition of That 70’s Fest

In April of this year something awesome went down at the Tweefontein Melkery (on the outskirts of Kempton Park): the first edition of That 70’s Fest. It was one hell of a jol and I’m really sad that I didn’t end up writing a review about my experience, so here goes:

Take a great dose of psychedelic rock, some kief riffs, some kick-ass solos, kick-ass jams, cheap booze, lekker chow, a kief camping area and some great music-loving peeps, put it all into a giant pot and stir.

Just imagine how excited I was when I found out that Boogy Central is planning a second edition of this festival from the 9th to the 11th of February 2018 and have already announced a bunch of acts who will be performing:

Retro Dizzy, Bobbejaan DJs, Medicine Boy, Miagii, Pollinator, Oh Those Guys, Frame Janko, Sheldon Payne & The Blue Veins and DJ Bedroom.

Boogy Central is more than just an entertainment company. They don’t host events, they create experiences. Their aim is to create meaningful and affordable experiences through live music, art and lifestyle events by utilising unique locations across South Africa. They capture the imagination and enhance the experience of their fans by hosting events based on specific themes. By doing this they give all South Africans a distinctive experience through live music entertainment.

Tickets are now on sale. Sunrise tickets will set you back R350 (take note that these are limited). Sunset tickets will set you back R400. Drive Thru tickets will be available for R500 (at the gate). All tickets include full weekend entertainment area access & 2 nights of camping & facilities. Get your tickets HERE.
