As a Global Partner of Formula 1, Heineken has unveiled a Special Edition Track Bottle series boasting a track-inspired design that celebrates F1 circuits from around the world.

Available from 1 October, these six Special Edition bottles and cans spotlight some of the most legendary locations on the Formula 1 calendar – including Canada, Spain, the Netherlands, Brazil, Great Britain, and Italy. Each collector’s item brings the thrill of the track to fans in a refreshingly premium way.

    Formula 1’s Global Momentum

With a fanbase of over 827 million worldwide, Formula 1 continues to surge ahead – and it’s getting younger. Currently, 43% of fans are under 35, with the sport gaining an estimated 51 million new fans in this age group year-on-year.

“This campaign is a global celebration, with Heineken rolling out bottles to drum up excitement and passion for F1, in a way where nobody is excluded,” says Alex Drake, Heineken Brand Director South Africa. “With the Special Edition Track Bottles, we wanted to bring the premium F1 experience home, celebrating the sport we all know and love.”

The World Tour Comes to Cape Town

As part of this campaign, Heineken and Formula 1 are launching a World Tour that will visit cities around the globe – including a stop in Cape Town on 30 November 2025.

The event will feature an actual F1 race car on the streets, premium lifestyle activations, and exclusive photo opportunities. Drake says the Special Edition Track Bottles allow fans to engage with the premium Formula 1 lifestyle while socialising with friends — bringing the speed, thrill, and sophistication of motorsport into everyday life.

    The Luxurious Marble Circus Experience

The Special Edition Track Bottles are just the first launch off the grid. Formula 1 fans can also look forward to The Luxurious Marble Circus, where Heineken will unveil a super-exclusive F1-inspired bottle.

Hosted at GROUND The Venue in Muldersdrift, Gauteng, on 4–5 October, the event will immerse guests in a Heineken F1 experience that celebrates the spirit of the sport and its global community.

“It’s more than a race, it’s a lap around the world,” says Drake. “Each design heroes a legendary track and gives fans the chance to celebrate F1 right here at home. Whether you’re hosting a watch party, enjoying a night out with friends, or embracing the thrill of the sport, the Special Edition Track Bottles are another example of Heineken bringing the global F1 experience to South African fans.”

Heineken’s Commitment to F1 and Responsible Enjoyment

Since 2016, Heineken has played a pivotal role in amplifying the Formula 1 spectacle through global fan experiences and trackside activations.

Beyond the new bottle designs, the brand plans to roll out more local activations, exclusive events, and immersive experiences in South Africa – giving fans even more ways to connect with F1 at home.

Drake underscores the brand’s commitment to responsible enjoyment: “When you drink, you should never drive. We want fans to celebrate responsibly while sharing the excitement of Formula 1 with friends.”
