In case you did not know, Bob Saget (who you might remember from America’s Funniest Home Videos and Full House) narrates How I Met Your Mother, “Hey, Beautiful” by The Solids is the opening theme for the show and the websites mentioned on How I Met Your Mother are all real. Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie play Ted’s two children on the show. The sequences where older Ted talks to them in the living room in 2030 were all shot during the first season of the show (so they appear to be the same age). The show was created by Carter Bays and Craig Thomas and is loosely based on some of their own life experiences.
I can’t believe that How I Met Your Mother has been on television for the past eight years. I am still bloody curious as to who “The Mother” is, but I’m sure that we’ll find out one or two seasons from now. The show really has made me laugh a lot.
The show is now in its eight season in the USA and has been renewed for a ninth season. To date 172 episodes of How I Met Your Mother have aired on television. The show has won 6 Emmy Awards over the years and has also won the People’s Choice Award for Best TV Network Comedy.
I found this How I Met Your Mother Infographic on The Meta Picture website. It was created by the folks from the TV Duck Website and I thought that I should share it with you today. The Infographic contains some really interesting facts.
