When you set out to do SEO (Search Engine Optimization), you have to have good content. That is because Google wants relevant content to show up when people search for a particular keyword or keyphrase. On the web, content is what people are searching for.
With the growing competition, SEO has changed dramatically over the last decade. As the number of websites has drastically increased, search engines are stuck with the burden to determine which websites rank best for relevancy to a keyword.
Search engines, like Google, achieve this calculation by looking at content throughout the webspace and evaluating which content is the most important to the potential search requested. Article writing, therefore, has become an effective means of optimizing a web page for the desired keyword.
There are 3 ways in which SEO articles are written differently
1. Readers have changed
Years ago, articles were pretty much only written as a way to instruct others. Many times, they were informative, somewhat formal and they covered broad topics that might interest a general reader. At that point, the internet was full of information that would have fit nicely in magazines or newspapers. As the needs of the general public changed, however, so did the style, tone, and purpose of online articles.
Articles are no longer boring or broad and topic. In fact, Google is less interested in those types of articles because they offer less relevancy for a specific keyword string. Rather, Google is now looking for articles that are casual in tone, specifically talking about one in-depth subject and offer useful information to an internet researcher.
2. The demands have changed considerably
When you write for SEO purposes, you have to write a bit differently. You are not going to get results by writing on whatever comes to mind and then posting it all over the internet. Google algorithms have been created to be intuitive enough to know that an article can be duplicated. In other words, if you post 100 articles of the same content, only one will be considered original.
The others will be considered syndicated and will add value to the original. That being said, you will have to write a lot to start seeing results. The fresher the content, the more Google will like it. Article writing has really become something of an art. You have to develop a subtle strategy to be effective. If you can write effective articles, you can be an effective search engine optimizer.
3. The technology has developed
Highly intuitive search engines such as Google have really played the biggest role in altering the way articles are written. Among other things, Google’s search engine can analyze articles almost as proficient as a human in determining the topic, how well the article is written, and how relevant it is to a particular keyword.
For example, if you would promote an assignment service, you should use such words in a SEO article as “research paper”, “lab report” or “essay”. Moreover, Google is looking for casual content and websites that hold visitors for longer periods of time. The longer you stay on a website, the more content you find interesting and valuable.
Or, if you have a property agency, you should consider doing SEO for real estate. I think you get the idea.
So, if you are already reading this article all the way to the end, that is a good signal to Google. When I wrote this article, I did not write it just to add text to the web. I wrote this so that I could educate you on how to write effective articles.
Ultimately, if you want better results from SEO articles, you will need to adjust the way you construct your article writing. You need to take the time to learn how Google views your content writing. Keep it casual, unique and interesting for the best payoff.
