Running Wolf’s Rant has been around since the 17th of August 2008. We will be celebrating our 10th birthday at Craft Exchange in Pretoria East on the 17th of August 2018 with an event called Howl CX I.
Howl CX I is brought you by Craft Exchange, Good Guy Vibes and Running Wolf’s Rant and will feature performances by After Robot, Satanic Dagga Orgy and an opening act (selected from Craft Exchange‘s Open Mic Night). DJ Running Wolf will also be spinning some tunes to keep the party going into the early hours of Sunday the 18th of August 2018.
Johannesburg-based band After Robot have been around since 2012 and are one of the pioneers of Groove Rock in South Africa. They’ve played at music festivals like Oppikoppi, STRAB (in Mozambique) and Innibos. If you’re not familiar with their music, check out the music video for their song “Bed of Shame” below:
Johannesburg-based Satanic Dagga Orgy need no introduction. They have also played at most of South Africa’s music festivals. SDO will be bringing their smorgasbord of folk, punk, comedy and tasteful nudity to Howl CX I on the 17th of August 2018. If you’re not familiar with their music, check out the music video for their song “This Train” below:
Unsigned bands / artists who are interested in opening for these two amazing South African acts at Howl CX I can attend Open Mic Night held on the 15th of August 2018 at Craft Exchange. The opening act will be selected by a panel of judges on the evening.
Howl CX I is one of the must-attend events of 2018 and is guaranteed to wash those post-Oppikoppi Blues away. Make sure that you polish your party shoes so long and feel free to check out the Event’s Facebook page for more information.
