Want to be part of something musical and amazing? A Styl of Two Cities is the planned coming together of Jozi and the Capital City, Pretoria. Artists and fans from both sides of the Jukskei River are invited to bring their styles and flavours to meet in the middle for a Sunday picnic. Expect toned down performances, collaborations, a bit of magic and lots of summer sun.
This is all expected to go down at the Smuts house in Irene on the 16th of November 2014. The Brother Moves On, Jaco Van Der Merwe (of Bittereinder fame), Nakhane Touré and Die See are the planned line-up for the day.
Take note: This amazing experience can only happen if 250 people Pledge. A Pledge costs only R130 and you can do it at THIS LINK.
So, prepare to save some moolah, pack a picnic basket, keep your own booze or juice cold so long and stock up on sunscreen! If this happens, you’re welcome to bring a gazebo or umbrella, but if you show up, please don’t block anyone else’s view. Gates for the event will open at 10 AM and the music starts at 12 noon. Kids are welcome too.
