Great news! The trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was released on YouTube a few hours ago. This film will be the 5th instalment for the Jurassic Park franchise and will be released in June 2018.
A volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the creatures have freely roamed for several years after the demise of an animal theme park known as Jurassic World. Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard), the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs once again.
A recent leak revealed that the film will center on Blue, Owen‘s last surviving raptor from the previous film, as Owen attempts to stop Blue from being used for violent purposes.
To avoid attention, the film was shot in Hawaii and the UK under the code name “Ancient Futures”. The film will also feature performances by B. D. Wong, James Cromwell, Ted Levine, Justice Smith, Geraldine Chaplin, Daniella Pineda, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall & Jeff Goldblum (who appeared in the first two Jurassic Park films). Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona and the screenplay was written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will be released 25 years after Jurassic Park (1993), 21 years after The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), 17 years after Jurassic Park III (2001), and 3 years after Jurassic World (2015).
The trailer features some chit chat, great action sequences, volcanic eruptions and lots of dinosaurs. Check it out below:
