Kings of Leon are back with a brand new single. Pyro is taken off their 2010 album Come Around Sundown. Kings of Leon are definately one of my favorite artists at the moment. The band has been around since 1999. They have their origins in Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. For those of you who did not know Nathan Followill, Caleb Followill, Jared Followill and Matthew Followill are the members of Kings of Leon.
The Come Around Sundown album debuted at number 1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In the UK the album sold 183,000 units in its first week as well as breaking the record for biggest first week digital album sales by selling over 49,000 album downloads. Come Around Sundown was the 11th biggest selling album of 2010 in the UK (694,300 units were sold). Pyro is the current number 1 song on local radio station Tuks FM’s Top 30 chart. Rumor has it that the 2011 Kings of Leon Tour of South Africa might be postponed, but no official confirmation has been issued by Big Concerts yet. Let’s hope they don’t take too long to get here.
This is the music video for Pyro:
