Kings & Queens of Comedy makes a triumphant return on the 27th of May 2023 at Emperors Palace. This highly anticipated event brings together nine of South Africa’s finest comedic talents, armed with their razor-sharp wit and hilarious anecdotes for a night of BIG laughs.
Leading the pack for the evening is host Darren “Whackhead” Simpson, master of pranks and wit, who will keep the laughter rolling all night long.

Riaad Moosa, known for his unique blend of observational humour and storytelling that touches on his life, returns by popular demand. He is joined by Lindy Johnson, a rising star in the industry with her infectious energy and relatable tales of everyday experiences.
On stage, telling jokes is the only place Sifiso Nene feels completely at home and he has become the master of witty storytelling. The fearless Celeste Ntuli delivers her trademark no-holds-barred comedy that challenges the norm.
Mark Banks, a legend in the comedy scene, brings his unparalleled timing and clever wordplay to the stage while our favourite duo Conrad Koch and Chester Missing, a ventriloquist act like no other, combine puppetry and satire to deliver biting social commentary with a twist.
Muthu Murugan, known for his infectious energy and physical comedy, will have you in fits of laughter. Comedic genius, Marc Lottering, effortlessly weaves stories of everyday life with his unique blend of wit and charm. Finally, Queen of Indian comedy, Annalakshmi, will captivate audiences with her clever cultural commentary while singing a tune about her everyday life.
