Aging in the 21st century and being single isn’t always easy. I have to admit that I do get desperate from time to time, but I thank all that is good in the world that I have tons of good friends who care about me, carry me forward and make carrying the fact that I’m 36 years old and still single a little easier. And let’s not forget that I always aim to have a good time, in whatever I’m doing – and before you ask – yes, even at work.
I have considered consulting a palm reader, reading more books on relationships, visiting relationship advice websites, considered joining dating sites, etc., but I’m not going to. It’s too much effort and I’m pretty sure I’m completely over-reacting at times. That girl that is going to sweep me off my feet is probably lurking somewhere in cyberspace or maybe I’m just one rock ‘n roll show away from actually meeting her, who the hell knows? The fact is, only time will tell.
I was browsing the web earlier tonight and came across a video posted by Blake Grigsby on YouTube. He actually made a sign saying “Kiss Me, I’m Desperate” and went to stand on the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles, California. I don’t think I’ll ever do this, but judging by the amount of kisses he got from girls, I am prone to changing my mind. This video has already had over 840,000 views on YouTube. Check it out below.
Pretty cool, right? Would you ever get this desperate to get a kiss? Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Feedback is appreciated and welcome here.
