The new “Last Dictator Standing” Nando’s advert has SA in stitches! The Premier South African fast food chain are back with a holiday themed campaign. The YouTube video (which was released earlier today) features a man (who bears a striking resemblance to Zimbabwean leader Robert Mugabe) sitting alone at his dinner table and thinking back to the good old days he had with his “friends” (who happen to all be deceased dictators).
The advert features features former Ugandan dictator Idi Amin, former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and former South African president PW Botha.
“Last Dictator Standing” is part of the Nando’s Meal for 6 campaign. Check it out, you could win one of 3 Nando’s festive meals for you and 5 of your friends.

I think this yet another very cleverly thought out campaign for Nando’s. To be honest this probably the funniest advert I’ve seen in 2011. I’ve never been disappointed by a Nando’s advert. Their adverts are always witty and they make me laugh.
