Wondering how to boost you productivity with Office 365? It’s a fact that productivity in a business mainly relies on togetherness, starting from the employees to the customers.

Static working conditions, erratic management, and poor communication are causes for low productivity. As a business person, think about bringing together best-in-class device management, security, and tools.

Currently, you should understand that day in day out, a set of core functionalities guide most users. Nevertheless, there’s no need to despair; with Office 365, a business can be boosted and further reverses the negative trends.

With Office 365, artificial intelligence has been harnessed to improve user experience by reducing repetitive and redundant tasks. This creates more time where documents’ reviews can be easily done. Microsoft Office 365 is the way to go for businesses regardless of the size.

    Office 365 - Productivity

Holy-grail is that this version is cloud-based. You will be amazed to understand that a company’s productivity can increase by up to 40%, especially by constraining it to not only office-based work.

What are some of how Office 365 increases the flexibility of the employees, making them more motivated?

Here are some ways how Office 365 boots business’ productivity:

    1. Multi-user editing

Office Online has a special feature that makes it easier to share, and therefore working as a team is simplified. Therefore, a team can access a document simultaneously, and with multi-user editing, they can edit and write or comment on a document at the same time.

With this feature sending files via emails and duplicate documents complications are eradicated. People don’t have to be in the same room to be able to work on a document. Teams can be spread all over the globe and still work efficiently.

    2. Office Online

Office 365 has an Online Office Suite that allows you to share documents, edit, and create documents via Microsoft’s web-based versions such as Excel and Word.

With these online apps, business efficiency is improved because people can work from anywhere and control their working day rather than be chained on a desk or a room. Research findings have it that most people achieve maximum productivity when working alone.

    3. Syncing calendars to Android

With Office 365, you don’t have to install extra software, hold user training, or touch hundreds of smartphones to provide access to shared calendars via mobile.

Office 365 allows such software as Itrezzo software to share calendars with Android devices. Employees can, therefore, easily access a company’s calendar from their smartphones. The calendars are unified and synced from all sources. This reduces clutter, and there’s flexible targeting.

    4. Team Groups

Office 365 also has the My Team Groups features – an essential tool that boosts employee collaboration and business efficiency. The features allow you to keep team resources and documents in one place.

This makes it easy to read, share and edit each other’s work. Group members have automatic access to documents. Further, the feature is linkable to Microsoft Calendar.

    5. Power BI

Office 365 further has an analytics tool that assesses a project performance, tracks critical business metrics, and decipher where time is best spent.

The power BI tool tracks your data and shares insights across an organization. This data can be embedded on your websites. It will collect our data and provide someone with visual reports that can publish, collaborate, and share.  This tool saves your business resources and valuable time and boosts your productivity.

    6. Outlook

Outlook is another feature by Office 365 which helps you keep your employees and office on track and organized. With Outlook, you can conveniently keep calendars, emails, contacts, calendar entries, tasks, and others together.

    7. OneDrive

Currently, businesses have familiarized themselves with cloud-based storage. Office 365 provides cloud-based file storage known as OneDrive. With OneDrive, you have access to all your files, and you can therefore share and work together, and you can further work from anywhere and at the same time while protecting your work.

    8. SharePoint

Office 365 has made things easier because there’s a collaboration between different teams within an organization; therefore, teamwork is a breeze. SharePoint allows teams and employees to work simultaneously. With SharePoint, you can:

    1. Create and connect video-conference and co-authoring features with SharePoint.

    2. Automate and design workflows

    3. Using shared task list, calendars, and other tools, monitor and plan projects

    4. Develop own tools for business such as Intranet, company blogs, and conduct surveys.

    8. Social

Through Skype and Yammer, productivity and employee engagement are increased. Skype for business helps increase communication with the employees, and the bond between the employer and the employees is tightened. There’s an increased sense of belonging, and this improves employee productivity and engagement.

    Wrap Up

Currently, it would be best if you did not miss using Office 365 for your business. It is an essential business tool that ensures that activities in your office are running efficiently and smoothly. This transforms to your business saving you from using multiple platforms with the packaged products in the tool.
